Yuko Shimizu!

Yuko Shimizu created Hello Kitty, She was born November 1st 1946. She was born in Chiba prefecture, she graduated from Musashino Art University with a oil painting major. She Worked in the Sanrio company and right after she graduated she released Hello Kitty to Sanrio in 1974. She then retired from Sanrio in 1976 but she is still a freelance designer. She has also created Angel Cat Sugar who was released in 2002, then she also created Rebecca Bonbon was released in 2005. She Created Angel Cat Sugar because of a pet cat she had that was a loving, white, friendly, kind cat she found on the street but one day she disappeared. So she made the cat in her memory for this was the cat she had the best memories with as it says in here why she created her “Pie Chan was a cat I picked up on the street.  I didn´t know whether she had been thrown away or if she was a stray cat.  She was a very beautiful cat with gold eyes and white hair.  She was also a very kind cat.  She had fed two kittens, who had lost their mother, along with her own two babies, treating them as her own.  But she suddenly disappeared from me after she finished feeding the four kittens.  I looked for her everywhere, but I could not find her at all.  I had many cats in my life and she was the one who brought me a lot of memories. When I draw a white cat, I always remember Pie Chan.  I wonder if she might be feeding other kittens again somewhere.” She created Rebecca Bonbon for one of her cats because she had four but this creation turned out looking like a dog so it soon became one after re-thinking and re-working it in.

She is shy, she loves to study, listen to music and read. Her three best friends are mice Basil, Parsley and Thyme. She loves nature all the animals in the forest are her friends. Her Father is Fennel and her mother is Mint, Her father was a animal doctor and her mother was a nurse. Because of all the love and support her parents gave her she came out to be a loving, kind cat. One day the three mice and her father found a hurt bird so Sugar held it in her arms and then it got healed the three mice said that they could see angel wings on her back and that is why she got the name Angel Cat Sugar.

She is a girl, but much like a tomboy and a troublemaker.

Parsley

He is a boy, a reliable and knowledgeable but can be a nag.

Thyme

He is a boy, he is very cheerful and lively and encourages sugar for her best.

Rebecca Bonbon is a french bulldog, she was born in Paris in November 2005. One day in a park she met a american tourist and becacame great riends with her. She lives a charmed life, she lives in apartment in New York City, overlooking the Central Park. She loves sweets and fashion and that is how Rebecca Bonbon got known. She also loves to take pictures and share them with her friends.
